Any way beets could use mixesdb to match 'singles', they dont seem to have an api, but i guess its possible to scrape the search results but no idea where to start!

Interesting—I hadn't heard of this site. Looks like a good data source though. FWIW, probably the best way to get started with a scraper in Python is with Beautiful Soup.

Isn't Mixesdb about DJsets? does it have single tracks too?

Only lists the single 'set', but still be nice to tag full sets as a 'singleton' and get the right info from mixesdb, so many are posted with no tags or incorrect tags.
