error in convert #34

While processing one of the videos (apparently ok), I got this error. While doing so I was connected to the internet, although the connection is not particuarly strong and could disconnect. But the rest of files worked and I tried the wrong one again, and the error persists. image

My internet is not super strong but it is just a question of time and patience;) It took 2h but the file is uploaded.

Strange, file converts just fine for me. Probably there is something specific on your computer that has a problem with this file, but I don't want to speculate on what that can be. If it's still a problem when you come back, we should meet up and I would love to see this happening on your computer.

(or you could just try again to convert, maybe with a different target directory, if that's faster.....)

Unfortuntely, I have already processed this file this mornig (with old settings - VLC) and that was really, really painfull... I very much appreciate BEHAVE and don't need any reinforcment of my enthusiasm but this kind of experience makes me even more (possible?) grateful for this awesome tool! 🙂

OK, fair enough :). Anyways, let's still keep this issue open for when you're back in Gdansk, so I can try to get to the bottom of this!

Today, I processed another two videos and got the same error. Got upset and creative;) I cleaned up my computer and fixed some system errors (with CCleaner - free version; there were apparently many issues and at the end of the process all were fixed). Then, I run coverter again and it miraculously works - no errors with the files.

I have no clue what exactly was wrong but apparently that was my system not being well maintain for a while (not the file, as we already suspected). I kept a copy of the old windows registries... it does not tell me anything but if you would like to have a look it is secured:)
