Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try entering text into the login box at www.firsttechcu.com

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When you try to enter your login information at this site the search function
takes priority moving the focus out of the text entry box and preventing login.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mac OSX 10.6.6 using Chrome 9.0.597.84 with Type-ahead 0.3.6

Near the top of the page I linked to just right of center is a button that says
login. Press that and it will take you to the page I'm having issues with. In
the middle of that page there is a flash element that has two text entry boxes.

I thought I had seen it all, but a login box with flash is a new brand of
dreadful web development. Anyway, it works for me, the extension does not
activate when the cursor is in user or password.

Tested in Chromium, 11.0.661.0 (73930), CTA 0.3.6, flashplugin 10.1.102.65-1,
ArchLinux.

If you cannot make it work I recommend you to blacklist this particular URL.

I didn't realize I could blacklist. Thank you. That fixed the problem.
