Id love to see the following added: shift+swiped key, carriage return,
backspace, space bar, tab to the gesture actions.
This is what I'd like to achieve:
1- Swipe up on a key: to access the secondary character in a key, it would
equate to shift+key
2- Swipe down: carriage return
3- Swipe right to left: backspace (delete one character to the left of cursor)
4- Swipe left to right: space or tab (for bash complete)
This is an enhancement, not a defect. This behavior is very similar to what I
had set up on my old palm III way back when, but it was very productive.
Haven't found a keyboard that does that yet (maybe touchPal is doing some
similar things, but with a different approach).
Maybe item 1 might fit better with "Sliding key events", where you add "Send
alternate character when sliding up" as an option?

I would suggest 'delete previous word' and /or 'delete next word' swipe
options. Swiftkey has swipe left to delete the last word functionality that I
really miss, not enough to go back to it but I did find it a real time saver.
