exiting hardware settings disables recording controls until start is clicked #22

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open hardware settings
2. Close hardware settings
3. Now you have to click start to change any of the recording settings because 
those controlls have been disabled.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Should be able to manipulate recording settings or start an open-loop experiment
