using arrows on spkdet settings #36

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. compile NR
2. open spike detection settings (before pressing start)
3. use up or down arrows on the Slope setting

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to adjust slope up or down.
Instead the software displays an error and exits debugger mode.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Revision 413, Windows XP, Alzheimer's rig in Potter lab

Please provide any additional information below.

I was not able to reproduce this. Was this by chance, the very first thing you
tried to after compiling for the very first time? It could be that a
Properties.Settings.Default.* is not initialized with a value for some reason.

No and yes. It is not the very first thing I do after compiling, but it is
when I compile for the very first time (typically I download the latest
revision each time I use this software). After compiling, the things I do
before fiddling with spkdet settings are change display settings, change
hardware settings, set correct number of recording channels, and adjust spike
filter settings.

This issue is confirmed. It occurs directly after compiling for the first time
and changing hardware settings. After the crash, reopen NR and everything is
fine. Must be an issue with Properties.Default.Settings values that NR ships
with.
