Clicking display button prior to start of initial recording throws error #62

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Probably not high-priority fix, but here's what happens: Immediately after 
launching NR, and PRIOR to starting recording (hitting green start button at 
bottom of spike filtering tab), clicking on (+) display button throws an error.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect recording to start, instead, get an error is thrown that essentially 
requires force-quitting + restarting NR.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0.2.521 (BETA), windows XP

Please provide any additional information below.
Clicking on the icons AFTER starting recording produces the expected behavior 
of zooming in. Also, after having completed one recording and starting another, 
the display buttons can be safely clicked w/o throwing the error.
