Need a way to crop images on the back end for thumbnail view within the modal. -- To get to this feature, go to the backend for the gallery, click the pencil symbol when hovering over an image, and then click edit image after scrolling up to see the thumbnail.
There should be a specific size the thumbnail is set up for and you can change the view just for the modal's gallery. --Can you clarify here?
When images in Modal gallery are clicked on...full image will show (not in thumbnail form) I'm not sure what this is referencing to, however I did find out that the lightbox was not enabled. Please let me know if that was the problem.
It would also be nice to have this back end feature for thumbnails on the gallery page. --Can you clarify here?
I can show you an example from our old site if you need me to! That would be great!
It would be great if we could have these pre-set thumbail sizes for both the home page thumbs as well as the modal thumbs. That way all we have to do is click "homepage thumbnail" or "gallery thumbnail" and then easily crop the image.
If you go to "Melissa Anderson's page" you can see how everything crops into that size.
If you click on the gallery image it goes to the true size.

Ah, I see. I'll work on implementing it!
Thanks!!
This feature has been added.
Please confirm.
Confirmed! How do we know which size option is for the gallery homepage thumbnail vs the modal gallery thumbnail?

The gallery home page will always show as thumbnail, regardless of how you change it. The editing of the image will only change the modal gallery. Does that make sense?
Does that answer your question?
Will we be able to choose which section of the painting fits in to the gallery home page thumbnail? Also which one of those options will be for the modal gallery? Ex: is it "Large, blog-large, relate-img" etc...
Let's talk about this over the phone. I'm having a bit of trouble understanding the question.
Sounds good. I will be gone Friday - Tuesday but any other day this week works for me.
Would Wednesday around 5:05 work?
Yep, tomorrow works!
Thanks,
-Erin

Hey Bekk! Thumbnail image should be 250px W x 157px H with a white box behind it that it is centered in. That should be 274px W x 181px H.
The Modal image should be 402 px W x 253px H with a grey (#f5f4f6) box behind it that it is centered in. That sould be 432 px W x 290 px H

Ok, I've changed the image size. It will go to that image size unless the responsiveness of the page is threatened.
To get the box to 274, 181 from an image size of 250, 157 requires a fairly thick border. (24px) is that what you mean or are you just talking about the amount of the space taken by each image along with padding?

Ok, I've changed the size. It will go to that size unless the responsiveness of the page is threatened. Essentially if there is enough room it will go to that size, but if space is limited it will shrink accordingly.

Same as above. We still want to be able to crop it ourselves but to that specific size.

The Thumbnail needs to stay in consistent proportions when screen size changes.
