Modded ore variants #237

We should have variants for modded ores like how Rockhouding has its variants for iron and coal. They can have different amounts of output for the ore they are based on and different secondary outputs.

Alright. Lets start with Tin. I do not want to add all of these, but I'm interested to know which ones you guys find most interesting.

Tin Ores

Malayaite sounds good for more titanium, and pabstite for getting limestone.

Canfeldite sounds good for getting a bit of silver from tin and cylindrite can be a good alternative source for copper.

Ferronigerite sounds good for just getting a variety of ores. Maybe we can have it process into all four of the metals you mentioned but not have a 100% output on any of the metals while addding the Thaumcraft quarts ore in the vein?

In general, I'm a big fan of the ores that contain multiple metals and have a different stone type that allows for obtaining more decorative blocks. It looks like a good amount of tin ores also contain titanium, so maybe we want to have one or two tin ores that would give titanium when grinded?

How many variants do we want per ore?

belathus commented 6 years ago

No more than 5. I'd also like to make at least one nether ore variant. Possibly 2.
