BuildingUnit object type #101

Dear

I have some concerns regarding the BuildingUnit object type as it specified in the current model.

  1. I cannot see any property linking a BuildingUnit object to one or many related documents (as a renting contract, an entry/exit inventory, EPB certificate, ...). Such a property does exist about Building object type. I would add that property to BuildingUnit object type too as one would like to associate a document to a specific BuildingUnit.

  2. I cannot see any property regarding construction/destruction of a BuildingUnit. As I understand that, it's quite possible to construct/destroy one BuildingUnit without constructing/destroying the whole building (like when one creates a new floor or destroy a kind of appendices). I would add these properties to BuildingUnit object type too as one would like to specify the construction/destruction date of a specific BuildingUnit object.

For us it makes sense to make these changes. We will send a communication to the working group to align on this, and to get their views on this issue.
