It is possible to provide a start date, anyPoint during the event and an end date of the event all together. It is a good idea to have multiple anyPoints instead of just one (for example when you want to include specific moments in time).
Before we indeed had the possibility to just include eventDates with a description of the event. This is not the way INSPIRE was built as well as not the way the working group saw this feature.
As there was no consensus wrt. the anyPoint
discussion, during the last webinar. No change will be made.
I see the following issue with the current model: You can link 0 or 1 EventDate to dateConstruction. An EventDate is either a start date or an end date or a date at any point. This means that you cannot have both a construction start and end date linked to the building.
Suggestion: link 0 or more Events to a Building; each Event having a date and an event type (e.g. start of construction, end of construction, strat of renovation, end of renovation, start of demolition, end of demolition, ...)
