going to have 4 sections: project overview, what we've done so far, what we're going to do, discussion points

wrote document draft. going to review and edit it tomorrow, but good for now. will write notes on discussion points in here.

• HIT needs redundancy in annotations
• "tracks" nlp models geeking out, social science theory exploration (prediction vs. explanation)
• recommendations from Twitter? can we control for that? Dirk has an "in", so could we get some data?
• control for buying followers? 30 likes photo/tweet for 1000 followers (metro.com.uk)
• manually track follower counts through time -- note that in paper
• theories -- talking to colleagues
• dependent variables -- sponsorships, product promotion, subscriber counts? number of comments? cross-platform?
