Comments failing to become marked as read #262

Right now, it isn't occurring.  However some comments of mine took a very long 
time to be marked as read -- sometimes just on specific pages, e.g. my 
userpage, while being marked as read elsewhere.

> What version of which web browser are you using? On what operating system?

Firefox 5.0 (Mozilla Firefox for Unbuntu canonical - 1.0) on Ubuntu 11.04.

Some pages, such as the userpage does not correctly display comments as 
read/unread.  The quick solution is likely to disable the displaying of the 
special unread highlighting on these non-article pages.
