Such a dashboard should show what's _popular_ as well as what's _new_. Another
helpful facet: showing what's _curated_, if any admins want to take the
editorial role of cherry-picking what's been most interesting over the past
weeks.
Meetups might be helpful to include if we can localize them to where the person
lives – if they can list their city in their profile, and it matches (or is
nearby) existing meetups happening within the next 2 weeks, then these could be
shown in a sidebar.
Showing this upon login would likely improve engagement quite a bit, and I'd
love to test how this performs relative to the existing login page. I'd be
happy to mock something like this up so we can move forward on building it.
