Unable to comment on posts

I'm a new user, just opened an account; however I couldn't find how to comment 
on posts, or how to reply to someone else's comment. The FAQ seems to suggest 
that there should be a comment box where the comment could be written; however 
such box does not appear.

The issue appears in all browsers: IE9, Chrome, and Firefox.

If this is because I have 0 karma, then could someone please update the FAQ 
explaining how to move up from level 0.

Hi stpasha,
You can't comment until you have verified your email address. If you didn't see 
an email from Less Wrong after signing up be sure to check your spam folder. If 
you don't find it visit http://lesswrong.com/prefs/update/ and check that your 
email there is correct. If it isn't, update it and you'll be sent a new 
verification email. If it is correct then please email me (from the address in 
your profile) wes at trikeapps.com and I'll sort it out.
