Allow old OB users to take ownership of their comments #369

Oglaf the OB commenter left lots of comments on Yudkowsky posts back in 06-09. Oglaf now has an account (named Oglaf) on LW, with all his 09-11 comments, but Oglaf's old comments now show as belonging to a user named Oglaf2, and there seems to be no way to log into this account. Oglaf doesn't get karma for these comments, they're not in his comment history, and he gets no notification if someone comments on them.

It'd be cool if Oglaf could click a button, to claim ownership of the 'orphaned' account. A moderator would get a notification, look at the two histories side by side, and quickly rubber-stamp the requests. The comments in the Oglaf2 account would now be owned by the Oglaf account.

It would be cool. We're not going to do it. The 2 accounts were created during the migration process if something went wrong with the initial migration. Going back and fixing these doesn't seem worth the development resources.

If anyone disagrees, and writes a script / describes a workflow that makes this easy to do, I'm happy to do it.
