This has been fixed, but Facebook caches what it scrapes for 24 hours, so the descriptions of recently shared/liked posts may not update immediately (source: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/ , "When does Facebook scrape my page?" section)
To see the effect of the changes, you can paste an article url like http://lesswrong.com/lw/id2/to_what_degree_do_you_model_people_as_agents/ into the form at https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug .

Sharing any LessWrong post on Facebook results in the text, "Less Wrong is a community blog devoted to refining..." and no actual text from the LW post. We should provide the actual initial sentences of the article to whatever kind of query Facebook sends.
