I will try to fix this in a future revision of the 1.7 series. In which terminal emulator are you running vim?

This is in urxvt, and its my PS1 not vim. I fixed it though by tweaking some line height params in urxvt. When I get back to my computer I will share them in case you would like to distribute that information.
