I wasn't able to change the set shell lines to c:\Windows\System32\bash.exe and get bash on windows (using Windows Subsystem for Linux ) to work. Instead, I changed it to use a batch script: idbrii/vim-online-thesaurus@0c3e4379b83604188ce442396db8ad4896ea483d
I don't know if that commit is very helpful for fixing the plugin, but maybe helpful to others who run into the same problem.
