Keystone.js enabled us to re-think what can be done in the CMS, but sadly a bit of the functionality is so hard to realize using keystone that it is not sufficient anymore. After looking into alternatives it became quite clear that https://payloadcms.com/ will be the new solution. The required changes shouldn't be that much, we get data/user-separation for free and Payload supports the concept of collections and singletons natively.
