The error message hints that you use dependency constraints to influence the version selection. That offers the strictly keyword. I've only used it to force minimum versions for transitive dependencies with known CVEs, but I believe others use it as an alternative to a resolution strategy (which rejectVersionIf
adapts to). You might have a plugin that adds constraints or a resolution strategy and does not account for dynamic versions, so you would have to look beyond your build files. The info log can help or inspecting the details of the configuration (like allDependencyConstraints
) can help to debug what might be going on.

My dependency is declared in commmonMain

and now i get the following exception.,I have the same reject version function in a normal other java project which has the same dependency and there it works.
Anyone an idea why this fails? I wonder where the strictly comes from
