Mod is unavailable on Third-party Launchers #2

You have the Curseforge "Prevent Third-Party Distribution" setting enabled, which prevents your mod from being used on third-party launchers. Many people do not want to use the Overwolf launcher due to privacy and data-harvesting concerns, or inaccessibility on Linux, and this restriction makes it difficult for those people to use modpacks with your mod in them, as well as discouraging pack developers from including your mod. Additionally, it makes it much more difficult to host a server with this mod. For more details, see https://gist.github.com/copygirl/7d45bad739453d2be61138cebafce04c

I have decided to keep the flag active because i hope that it prevents the development of third party launchers which are even worse than what Overwolf provides. (e.g. something remotely close to Ad.Fly which used to distribute malware together with their downloads)

I agree with everything said on the linked gist, however i also see potential harm in allowing any third party downloader.

There's no money in that for me either, since my download counts are kinda low compared to other mods.

I hope you'll understand my decision. (btw. you can always ask me to directly add the mod to your modpack, they aren't updated very frequently lately so the maintenance from your side should be close to zero)

No problem. I was mainly thinking of the more popular open source launchers like PrismLauncher, MultiMC, and ATLauncher, but I can see where you're coming from.
