Gender choice: add more options #208

This is an issue I spotted in the app as shown in the youtube video about the project. I don't know if it is still relevant.

After checking in the app, I saw you just removed the question about the gender. If you were to introduce it again, it would be nice if you still considered this. :)

Here is an article about this issue. It might also be a good idea to ask the user to specify their pronouns.

I also just saw the topic has already been mentioned in #155, but I am unsure what the final outcome was.

Nothing has come from #155 yet; but, that discussion is more about getting people to do the right thing than giving people more options.

Since we want people to be able to filter on the selected genders, a "type anything here" box doesn't really work well. Probably the best input for this that I've seen used elsewhere was a "put a dot on the chart". system.IMG_20210205_104614_638.jpg Then, the filter could be selecting a region you find acceptable.

I don't like the limitations of that particular version; but, it's a good mixture between expression and not overwhelming other people to start with.

I hadn't ever seen this type of gender choice and it is indeed interesting!
