pokemon stadium - issue with fonts #243

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. create a substitute (with a pokemon that has the move) and wait to be BROKE
2. the message will say "the SUBSTITUTE droke!" instead of broke
3. also sometimes happens with istead of used=useb

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the letter d and b gets randomly mixed up.
for example instead of broke its droke. and instead of used useb.
there may be more of this weird behavior but thats the only thing i noticed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
glide64 r231 on 1964 ultrafast v3 on windows xp pro sp3 x86

Please provide any additional information below.
i think its just the letter b and d. i have not noticed on any other letter
that issue.
in this link, the image since i cannot attach more stuff???

set "fast_crc = 0" for Pokemon Stadium and it will fix the d & b.

may i ask if you are going to change the "fast_crc" option to 0 in the next
source code or wip build? or may affect another game at the opposite that fixes
stadium may broke another game???
