Adding beta users to the repo #138

@benthestatistician the list of Github users to add to the users for beta testing is:

A few other emails of interested users:

I've added the first three as read-only contributors. Given that some time has passed since making these contacts, perhaps an email to them is warranted. You might (at your discretion) also email the other 3, inviting them to share GH usernames if they're still interested to check the package out.

Don't hesitate to close out this issue if we've done all the repo adding that we're going to do based on spring/summer contacts, @jwasserman2 . If you're waiting to hear from more potential users, or still have plans to reach out to some, we can leave this open.

The three who left emails did not have Github usernames, but when we release to CRAN we can let them know it's available. I can't seem to tag the three usernames you've added in a Github comment anywhere to alert them that they've been added. If we can't figure out how to message them, then this issue is ready to close.

  1. Sounds like next time we need to collect both emails and github usernames
  2. The first 2 GH users I added didn't respond to their invitations, which have since expired. The second has several public GH repo's, so one could reach out to them by posting an issue on one of those repo's. (I'll leave it to you to decide whether to proceed with that. If you do, I'll be happy to re-send the invitation, just let me know.) The third one accepted, so we could presumably contact him by e.g. @-mentioning him in this thread.

@jbryer Welcome to the propertee repository! You expressed interest in this R package at the American Causal Inference Conference this past May. A refresher on what this repository does can be found in the README. We have invited you to a read-only version of the repository since we haven't yet put the package on CRAN. You may clone this repository and use it for projects as you see fit. Please create any Github issues if you run into confusing behavior with it. Enjoy!
