would be nice if threads unrolled inline in the stream

then again, maybe that is what the inbox view is about?

It is not hard to crawl a thread. The hard parts are:

deciding when to include a message in a thread
deciding when to exclude a message that is in a thread so may have already been seen

Any ideas on what the behavior should be like?
