I'm currently working on a workflow that uses an anaconda environment encompassing a long series of packages. Among the software that I need to include there is also mafTools, which unfortunately is not in anaconda cloud.
Now, I've managed to create an anaconda package for linux and osx which includes the compiled mafTools component, and integrate it in my environment without problems. I've seen that mafTools is release with MIT licence, as well as sonLib. I'm unsure on what are the conditions for this library.
Also, would upload the package above mentioned consist in a violation of copyright of any of the packages above mentioned?
Sorry for the unusual (and weird) question, but providing mafTools through anaconda would massively simplify my life :)
