The first way is the intended way to use Dolomite. A "community" is indeed defined by its homepage (this is different from a "group").
BTW, the creation of communities by users was already developed but it only worked on the computer of the developer.
For now, the administrator has still to create it in the setup file.
By Homepage, I mean the page were users are redirected after having chosen their password.
That's what i meant. Here is the definition of a community in conf/application.conf
:
ourcommunity.acme.com.name = Foo Bar
ourcommunity.acme.com.href = http://ourapplication.acme.com/
I often invite users, but I am unable to set the homepage URL.
Perhaps homepage'URL could be accessible (and modified) through an online form. For instance, the invitation form could include a field for this purpose (with the default value from conf/application.conf
, that can me modified (if desired) by the sender on the invitation.

As I wrote earlier it is supposed to be already implemented. Any help would be welcome to see why it worked on the developer workstation and never did on the production server. See:
Depending on the training session, the homepage of the community is different. Either we create a new community for each training session or we change the homepage on each invitation. The latter need a new feature, but is perhaps easier to manage in the long term.
