The exif extraction should always return a value for creation date. The current implementation should be preferred, but if nothing is found in the exif tags, the base case should always pull the OS file created date as a fallback
Even when I manually write values to the database, although the filtering by date works correctly, the information on the dashbaord video card still shows 'unknown' for dates
