There are a lot of interesting papers and books one could cite. For people who are interested in the depths of data science.
Maybe add an overview slide ("What's out there", e.g. ice berg). Add pointers to existing topic and scope to not covered topics Bayesian Machine Learning, Significance tests, ML interpretation, ML ethics, ...
It should show the depths of data science with some plan where the connections are and what was (on purpose) simplified. And give some starting points to people that are interested.
