Chore/make prospector compilable #82

Summary

A variety of changes to:

No longer rely on absolute file paths
Remove redundant code that makes it hard to navigate codebase without scrolling past lines and lines of unused functions
Move some type declarations to header files
Make the CMake build step a bit easier on different machines (I did try to auto-detect gpu archs, but it wasn't working reliably. Might have to set as an ENV var instead.)
