Shield is permanently on in Melee #163

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Download Melee from http://cloudstor.es/f/57S/
2.Use it in Nintendont
3.In any mode, shield is permanently on.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The game should run like it normally does. Instead, you always shield no matter
what you press.

What revision of Nintendont are you using? On what system Wii/Wii U?
Newest version (as of 2/13/15) on a Wii

Please provide any additional information below.
I've tried two different versions of SSBM and it happened to both of them.

Wiimotes require something plugged into them to work with nintendont.

You will never be able to properly play meele with the wiimote + nunchuch.
It just dosent have enough buttons that can be pressed in the necessary
combinations.
None of the available wiimote + nunchuch configurations should have the shield
on all the time. Which configuration are you trying yo use?

Default

The default configuration will activat the shield by rotating the nunchuck to
the left or righy. The more you rotate the stronger the shield. The nunchuch
must be held compleatly upright to not enable the shield.
