Unable to import arbitrary backup file #177

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Backup keys on an older version creating a
bitcoin-wallet-keys-2013-04-08.txt file
2. Copy that file off-phone
3. Wipe phone, re-install app. Don't see file available as restore srouce in
Backup -> Import

What is the expected output?

Expect to be able to provide the path to restore file

What do you see instead?

Only see 1 option: "key-backup-base-58.34' which was created on install

What version of Bitcoin Wallet are you using?

3.04

On what Android version and
what phone?

Cyanogenmod 10.1-RC1 on Galaxy nexus (CDMA)

Please provide any additional information below.

I can copy my backup file to any file path necessary, I just don't know where
to put it for the backup -> import to find it.

Thanks,

Copy your file to /sdcard/Downloads. Also remove the .txt extension.

Does this help?

That did it thanks. I had to put it in 'Download', which is what I was
missing. The .txt was the only way I could get gmail to let me email it off
the phone, but I see how there's a fancy "archive" popup, which is great!
