This needs some CSS, among other things, but you should now see an 'add news' link on the home page, with a simple form to create a news item. The current date/time is used, and they all default to 'status: true'.

To do:

either add a scrolling div, or limit the home page to display a certain # of news items
UI to edit/remove an item (you can currently log into mongo and update the record to have 'status: false', or just remove it completely)

Would also be nice to allow some markup in news items, at the very least linking to internal paths
