Cannot setup twitteraccount in Adium OSX #130

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install latest Twitter-IM plugin
2. restart adium
3. there is no option in the list of available protocols to setup 
microblog-twitter in adium

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? Adium 1.3.5  On what operating 
system? OSX

i am not able to setup my twitter account credentials in any way
am i doing something wrong?

I encounter exactly the same problem with Adium 1.3.5 on Mac OS 10.4.11

Just install the latest beta. It has an updated twitterIM
works for me

I'm currently using the 0.2.2-1 version. Where i can find the latest beta ?

Hello,

the problem persists with Adium 1.3.6 and i'm not able to download the latest 
beta version of TiwtterIM 
plugin...

I am having the same issue in OS X Leopard and I have Adium 1.3.6.  I do not see
anywhere to add my Twitter log in information.  I don't see anything for a beta 
anywhere.

I am having the same issue in OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.1 with Adium 1.3.7 where the
plugin shows in the extras area, but I cannot find any way to set up my Twitter
account.  Is there a file I am supposed to alter or something?  Please help!

Adium 1.3.10 and 2.2-1 plugin: From a little debugging I can say that adium 
doesn't
"run" the TwitterIM plugin. During startup adium asks if the plugin should be
disabled, so it finds it.
Is there a way to figure out if the mach binary TwitterIM runs at all? Then it 
can be
debugged if the API changed or something.

Hello,

yes it's persisting with Adium 1.3.x but with Adium 1.4 it seem's to be solved.
