What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. go to twitter.com
2. tweet sth. with a link
3. wait
4. look at your pidgin twitter window

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
your tweet should be recognized as you (blue formatting)
instead it is red (with standard settings)
the tweet should arrive as sent on twitter.com but the link gets displayed
shortened

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
microblog-purple 0.2.2

Please provide any additional information below.

So there are 2 defects

1. Self-posted link shorten

- The link kept by twitter is always being shorten (by some url-shortening
service).
We never do the url-shortening by ourself. So tweets red from twitter.com is
always
link-shorten.

- Could you give us some example or usage for this? Why do you want to see full
URL?

2. Tweet colour is not as expected.

- So do you want your name still displayed as blue, just like other tweets?

1. my bad then ;-)

2. I think it would be constistent that way, not?
At the moment it looks e.g. when using pidgin:
(8:47:27 AM) yourname: message
When using twitter.com:
(8/10/2009 8:52:22 AM) twitter.com: yourname: message

Oh, so you didn't mean just changing the colour, but instead want the format to
be
exactly like tweet that you typed from Pidgin?

This is doable, but require some more amount of effort to do :). Will keep it
in the
todolist.
