What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Updating a new version of mbpurple or a new version of Pidgin
2. Using an already created (before updating) account of Identi.ca
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see messages (dents) of people I follow, and updates. Instead,
I don’t see anything. (Only my messages if unchecked “Hide myself in
conversation”).
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
mbpurple 0.2.4 and mbpurple 0.2.1 (same problem in both versions)
Gentoo official ebuilds Pidgin 2.5.8, Pidgin 2.5.9-r1.
Please provide any additional information below.
I originally installed mbpurple 0.2.1, in Pidgin 2.5.8. It works great.
Then I upgrade Pidgin to 2.5.9, and mbpurple didn’t work.
Then I upgrade mbpurple to 0.2.4 and it didn’t work either.
Then I downgrade to Pidgin 2.5.8. Not luck at all. As a last chance, I
erase the accounts.xml file and I try again, it works fine now.
