I use 0.3.0 on my portable version of Pidgin.
What I did was download the "pidgin-microblog-0.3.0.exe"
Then I opened the file with a file archiver, in my case I use 7-zip. [(Right
click on "pidgin-microblog-0.3.0.exe") 7-zip > Open Archive]
Inside you will find the following folders
$PLUGINSDIR: This contains info for the installer itself [Useless to us]
$[35]: This one has all that we are after. plugins, icons, etc.
From here you just have to place everybody into their new to be home.
Files inside plugins go to:
...\PidginPortable\App\Pidgin\plugins
Files inside pixmaps go to:
[NOTE: you will notice that given their sizes, images go in different folders.
It is all there. ex those in the 16 folder go in the 16 folder and so on]
...\PidginPortable\App\Pidgin\pixmaps\pidgin\protocols
Files inside ca-certs go to:
...\PidginPortable\App\Pidgin\ca-certs
For all time goodsake, right click on the desktop and then refresh. Now fire-up
Pidgin, activate your twitter account and enjoy!
