App freezing when not on top #7

Hi benkuper,

Thanks for this great app! I'm just wondering one thing with it. Is there something I can do to prevent the app freezing when I use other applications with it. It keeps working nicely until I have an other apps window open for a while on top of it and then it stops sending data.

Other thing is that I have to reinstall it form time to time to prevent it form crashing. For example it worked nicely yesterday, but when I tried to start it this morning it kept crashing until I deleted the app and reinstalled it.

Hi again,

I found a solution for this freezing problem. I just had to enable the "prevent app nap" function in the "get info" menu of the application.

It keeps crashing when opening though. It seems quite random. For example yesterday I was trying to get it to work with two separate computers and for half an hour it just wouldn't start but suddenly it started to work on both computers after just many restarts..

Hi Sebastian,

I’m sorry for my delay in answering you but my life has been very crazy in the last few month, luckily this week the last few conferences and paper submission of the month and then a relaxing week. I’ll try to test the app next week and I will send you a report of it.

Cheers, Balandino.

Thanks!

I'm using it on OS X 10.11.3 on MBP 15" mid 2014.

Now it seems that I get it to work always if i just keep reopening until it starts (usually it takes like 20-50 tries). It has only a few times crashed during use. Please find the crash report attached.

BTW Is it possible to use the vibration function of the wristband by sending an osc message to MyOSC? What would that message be?
