Feature request: Midi in

What steps will reproduce the problem?

I'd wish to change setting when another app sends a midi value.
IMHO, this can be achieved in two ways:
- the most specific, adding a feature to "mappingset" tag, like shortcut. This 
could be called "MIDIIN", and set a specific value that make the mappingset 
load when received.
- a more general way, adding a type="midi" to element tag; this would allow me 
to program a "nextset" processor, but could be used also for other pourpose.
