I've tried to run both Mappinect.exe NecTouch.exe but apparently nothing
happens, apart for a javaw.exe process that gets started, but no GUI or error
message is shown.

Environment:
- Windows XP 32bit SP3
- OpenNI, Nite, SensorKinect
- Processing

I've tried to run the two applications from the command line.

If I open the .exe as ADMIN, I get the LOG file, If I just doubleclick I get a
Gray Processing empty window.

It seems that you have a problem with your kinect itself (badly plugged, or
already in use by another soft ?)

Are other softwares working, like the samples provided by OpenNI or processing
demos ?

If you are having this issue make sure that the Kinect Is the only device
running on the usb port. The kinect uses allot of bandwidth and gives funny
connection errors.
