Can't access & set date/time for Tasks Gear on Android Mobile Web Browser #1000

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Using the stock browser that came with the phone, access the Task
Gear at http://mail.google.com/tasks/android
2. If there are no tasks, create one.
3. Select the task then click on the blue > icon to try and add a due
date
4. The browse sends me back to the home screen on the phone.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expecting the input field for setting the due date/time for the task to 
render instead of being sent directly to the mobile phone's home screen.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
