Not compatible with firfox 3.6.7 #1022

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. when i try to install gear then my browser firfox-3.6.7 prompt me that gear 
is not compatible with it.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I was trying to use default version installed by the gear site when it promote 
to install for gear. i m using fedora 11.

Please provide any additional information below.

Same issue with:
  * Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic), updated 27-Jul-2010. 
  * Firefox 3.6.7.
