What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to http://aaronboodman.com/gearpad/
2. Create an account, login.
3. Choose "Set Up Offline Access!"
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Safari and Gears should ask ask for permission and then work.
Instead nothing happens. Gearpad works in online only mode.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Safari 4 and Gears 0.5.15.0 on Mac OS X 10.5.5 (5G55)
Please provide any additional information below.
It works at least with Firefox 3.0.1–6 and Gears 0.5.4.2

seems to be related pointing possibly to a general issue with Gears and WebKit.
