gears.google.com says " Your browser is not currently supported."

Issue also continues with Safari 4.0.2 .

Safari 4 has an incompatible change which prevents Gears from working. The
message
is correct.

Except that I had it installed when I had Safari 3... upgraded to Safari 4.0.2
and it's still installed and working
fine...

If the message is correct, Jon, then the compatibility list is not correct. It
says Safari 3.1.1+, which includes
Safari 4.x.
