[MAC] Gears user offline data is deleted after upgrading from Leopard to Snow Leopard #944

Platform:
  Hostname: knotset-4.local
  Mac OS X Version 10.6 (432)
  Processor: 4 Intel 2.66 GHz
  RAM: 4096 MB

Gears:
  Gears version: 0.5.32.0  <<<Release>>

Installed Browsers:
  Safari: 3.0.4 (523.12)
  Fire fox :  2, 3, 3.5

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Gears on leopard , sync user data , create shortcuts ...
2. Upgrade from leopard to snow leopard
3. Go offline , try to click shortcut or Verify gears permission settings.
( Firefox > Tools > Gears Settings)

What is the expected output? 
Gear's should work 

What do you see instead?
Caches folder is wiped out  after upgrade and nothing from the previous install 
works.
(~/Library/Caches/Firefox/Profiles/....) 

Note :  Gears works on snow leopard. / but .. upgrade deletes the caches folder 
and leaves things 
unassociated.
