What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Google gears, sync everything, etc.
2. Create a new contact in your contact list
3. The user becomes available when you sign on and are using a non-flaky
connection, but the contact user is NEVER available when in flaky or
offline mode. Groups like this NEVER show up either.
I have ended up resorting to copying and pasting a major mailing list. But
for other e-mails it's a pain.
gears: 0.5.32.0
firefox: 3.0.14
I'm very pleased with the bandwidth it's been saving me but was wondering
what if I'm doing something wrong with the contact list... or if I need to
re-install google gears and re-download all my e-mails to get the contact
list updated.
