cherokee-admin - Amount of domains #247

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Something seems strange for me with the amount of domains in the Virtual
Server menu of cherokee-admin. I have 2 vhosts, default and test. default
is showing 1 domain, but there are no domains defined for it. For my second
vhost "test" there are 2 domains defined "test.com" and "*.test.com", but
cherokee-admin is telling me there are 3 domains. I put there 2 domains, so
which is the 3rd one? It seems cherokee-admin always counts +1 additional
domain, for what?

Yes, it is visible :) Not very annoying though. I only wonder what it would
look like
if you have a virtual host, and did not yet assign any domains to it. Anyway it
is
late, but thanks for reporting :)

Is this still an issue? I can't reproduce it. When I go to the virtual servers
page, it shows a 1 behind my test virtual
host and the default virtual host (although the test virtual host has 2 domain
matches). It looks like the
"domains" array in PageVServers.py does not contain anything for that specific
virtual server.

Should be fixed in r3277: http://svn.cherokee-project.com/changeset/3277

Anyway, I think that the title of the column "Domains" should be changed...
Those
numbers are not "domains", are number of "rules" that matches domains.

feedback?

I think we should close this bug. It seems to work as expected: reports 1 (for
the
virtual server name, which is used for matching) + 1 for every extra rule
specified
in the list of domain matches.
