I had an idea how to implement a welcome message to give the very new users something to hold on to in the new environment created and opened by use_compendium().

The text contains shameless advertisement of the addin.

Yes, sure, why not! But what is going on with the failing check though?

The failing of the check was unrelated to this PR. I decided to fix the rather small issues directly. More difficult is the NOTE mentioned in #70.

Thanks very much! Yes dealing with those ::: is on my list of things to do, though not very high on the list... 😬
