Crashes on "Configure Mupen64Plus", Rom Browser-based issue. #211

Mac OS X 10.5.6

Mupen64Plus 1.5

Default Plugins used (no tweaking).

The problem I'm facing is this: I tried to apply a folder to the rom browser,
and now, everytime I
start it up, the program crashes. I've tried to beat out the crash and remove
that folder, but it
crashes nonetheless. Looking through the issues, I found the same issue, but
for the linux
version, and the problem was with rombrowser.cache. I cannot find this file in
the OSX version,
however.

A location or another fix would be extremely helpful.

It might help to know if you were using the pre-built version or if you
compiled it
from svn.

either way, the gui mode doesnt work well on mac, so i dont see why you wanted
to add
stuff to the rom browser. I have added stuff to the rom browser on my mac, and
it
worked fine. (i compiled mine from svn)

rombrowser.cache is stored in "~/.mupen64plus". In the Finder choose "Go to
folder..." from the "Go" menu, then type in that address. If removing
rombrowser.cache doesn't work you can try editing mupen64plus.conf. Remove all
of the
lines containing "RomDirectory[#]...", and set NumRomDirs = 0.

I had the exact same problem, and posted what I found in issue 206. Deleting the
rombrowser.cache file will fix the problem, and a new working file will be
generated
next time you run mupen.
